Stuffed Self-Portrait

Silly character I came up with, kinda inspired by Ugly Dolls. This guy sort of developed into a self portrait during sketch stages. What with the shirtlessness and jagged teeth. I'm actually gonna make a skully for this guy; so he's not really done. The jean material is actually cut from a pair of jeans I've had since the seventh grade.

I figure his pants are falling down because he doesn't have hands for to pull them back up. Of course this isn't the only plump ass I've stuffed lately. Bam.

Sachem Street continued

Just some more views of the "Sachem Street" piece; for to reveal the three dimensional aspects of it. I'm actually somewhat disastisfied with the overall character of the thing as an object. I was going for "light-up painting" but it has the feel of an oversized night light.

Mission: Thrill

Bish Bosh. Submitted a piece to a gallery show at the Soo Rye Art Gallery in Rye, New Hampshire. Looking forward to checking out the gallery. The show I submitted to was called "Precious". The point was small pieces: under 10 inches. Somehow, as a man, referring to anything under 10 inches as precious seems a tad bid patronizing.

So, this is a view from Sachem street on Mission Hill. An approximate rendering. I had fun with it. Already used it as a night-light on one occasion. The system works.

Check out the gallery; good stuff!
